- Cost/Fee
- First Redeemer Church is happy to offer VBS to your family
at no cost .
- Room Assignments
- The week prior to VBS, you will receive a card with your child's
room assignment information.
- For ease in getting
the children to their class, please bring this card with you the first day of VBS.
- If you do not receive a card, someone can assist you at one of the reception areas when you arrive.
- Due to the number of children, changes will not be made regarding
classroom assignment.
- Arrival
and Pickup Times
- Daily arrival begins
at 8:45AM
- Daily pickup begins at 12:45PM
- Preschool Children - Arrival
- The first day your child attends VBS you must fill out a security form at the preschool reception
desk before taking your child to his/her class.
- At
that time, you can fill this form out for the remainder of the week.
- Keep your pink copy of the security form. You will need this when picking up your child each day.
- The volunteers at the desk will be available to assist you.
- Do not leave your child in an unsupervised classroom.
- Preschool Children - Pick Up
- You must have the pink copy of the security form each day when picking up your child.
- If you do not have the pink copy, we will ask for photo identification before releasing any child.
- If someone other than the person listed on the pink form is picking
up your child, you should contact us. We will ask for photo identification in this situation.
- School Age Children - Arrival
- Each day you should take your child directly to their assigned classroom.
- If you arrive later than 9:15 a.m. or during the Worship Rally, please bring your
child to the Grand Foyer of the church. A volunteer will assist you in locating your child's class.
- Do not leave your child in an unsupervised classroom.
- School Age Children - Pick Up
- You will need to pickup your child from their classroom.
- If someone other than the parent is picking up your child, you will need to notify us.
- We will ask for photo identification before releasing the child.
- Early Pick Up - All Ages/Grades
- If you should need to pick
your child up early, you will need to come a reception desk so that we can assist you.
- Security
- Each volunteer for VBS has been given a thorough background check.
- A Forsyth County Sherriff remains on campus each day during VBS.
- Proper forms or identification must be presented before a child is released to an adult.
- Medical personnel are available, if needed.
- Snacks
- A small snack will be provided each day (chips, cookies, etc.).
- A list of snacks given will be posted outside the classroom during VBS.
- Lunch is not a part of the scheduled day.
